Oscillatory Reactions

January 24, 2008

Yes it is without doubt that I am quite a bum. However, I have finally decided to restart blogging on this blog. The reason being a very bummish one.My todo list tonight shows:

EE first draft
TOK Outline (full length)
World Literature Outline
Econs IA Three

I’ve made my coffee (a huge cup this time round) and the caffeine should be in my bloodstream by now. Yes, when you do see me in school tomorrow, with bloodshot eyes (perhaps you’d only see my eyelids) and an odd expression on my face, do remember to call me a bum. I might not respond though.

On another note, I’ve had two assessed chemistry practicals this year already. The pace this year is much faster. As I’ve said a few times, I would have preferred having more pressure last year and slightly less this year. Yet I might have said otherwise if that was the case last year.

The two assessed practicals have been on the Briggs Rauscher oscillatory reaction. The oscillation between the two colours is rather interesting. Yes, the first thing I thought of when I saw the name of the practical was Simple Harmonic Motion. The reason I’m talking about this oscillatory reaction though is that I’ve realised my opinions keep oscillating in a rather useless manner. One day I’d wish I was out of this IB thing as soon as possible and the next I would wish I was back in Year 5 when I had so much more energy to work hard but didn’t.

If you read this post and thought it was very disorganised, I agree with you.

Remind me later.

Just as I fended off an update to transmit (my ftp client of choice), adium, Itunes and Growl, I click the “Remind Me Later” button in my head with regards to blogging. It’s not quite as effective as my computer is at reminding me to update my software though.
